Hands On Atlanta AmeriCorps
It’s Your World!
AmeriCorps is your chance to make it better! As a Hands On Atlanta AmeriCorps member, you will have the chance to change
your life and the lives of others in Atlanta public schools and neighborhoods.
Hands On Atlanta AmeriCorps members serve for ten months in the Atlanta Public
School System as mentors, reading or math tutors, classroom assistants,
after-school enrichment program facilitators and volunteer coordinators.
As a Hands On Atlanta AmeriCorps member, you will receive a weekly living stipend,
health insurance and a $4,725 education award at the completion of your term of
service. In addition, you will gain valuable leadership and teamwork skills, and
become a part of a legacy that has served the Atlanta community for almost a
decade.
Hands On
Atlanta is currently accepting applications for the 2007-2008 AmeriCorps term of
service.
